We were delighted to attend the launch of the 2019 Cherwell Business Awards yesterday at Norbar in Banbury. The awards, now in it's 8th year, is the premier awards for business in North Oxfordshire and we are really pleased to be joining as a sponsor for 2019.
We are behind the 'Apprenticeship and Training' award and are looking for companies who are upskilling their workforce through high-quality training and seeing tangible benefits not just for the individuals receiving the training, but also for the business as a whole. We recognise that while apprenticeships and a fantastic way to do this, many businesses use other accredited training schemes, and other businesses have high quality 'in house' schemes that are successful in developing news and existing employees.
For more information on our award and how to nominate and enter, see here.
Paddy was really pleased to be joined by Matt and Sarah Jaycock from HS Composites, previously a winner of the CBAs Award for 'Apprenticeship of the Year' in 2016, then sponsored by Oxfordshire Apprenticeships. Matt and Sarah are fantastic champions of apprenticeships and training programmes and are joining us as a #CBAS2019 sponsor, by supporting the 'Small Business' award.
